![]() How Can You Let Your Faith Be Bigger Than Your Fear? Faith reassures us that there is eternal life and bounty that lie beyond our earthly domain. With faith, we acknowledge that no matter how complex the world is to live in, there is joy after our physical death. Instead, it is having the conviction that our life, family, and the whole earth are a part of the bigger plan orchestrated by our Lord, Jesus. In Hebrews 11:1, it emphasizes that the meaning of faith is not just holding on to things like the existence of God or that we are already saved from eternal death. As followers of God, we must anchor how we decide and act out to the life of Jesus, our true redeemer. Others happen to be intolerant to fear and avoid it quite often. Other people have a high tolerance to fear and do not worry about it. The matter of how we overcome fear can be subjective as our responses can be different. Sometimes, it can be helpful in our daily lives for us to survive, but when fear induces the feeling of being trapped, and it starts to become a problem, it’s a sign that things are beginning to fall beyond your threshold. How Do We Respond To Fear?Īlthough fear is a natural response of the human body, its intensity still matters. However, it can also be very, very detrimental, to some extent, for a person to feel fear. It can sometimes be helpful for individuals to cope with potential dangers. Often, these threats take control of the life of the victim.įear can sometimes be aggravated by other forms of abuse, like emotional, physical, or psychological. Sometimes, the threat that causes fear can be imagined, real, or a little of both. What Is Fear And Where Does It Come From?įear is a distressing feeling often fueled by anger, danger, and hurt. It magnifies that fear can no longer enslave us if we devote our faith to His word alone. It directs us to not be afraid, for our faith in Him is the way to freedom from fear. This constantly reminds us that our life and spirit belong to God, and so is everything in this vast universe. For you did not receive a spirit that enslaves you again to fear.” The Lord is my strength and song he has become my salvation. The word of Jesus in the scriptures emphasized in Isaiah 12 says, “I will trust and not be afraid. ![]()
